There's a blue cross up by the fountain to celebrate the Feast of the Cross. Tonight we were all asked to go out after supper to light the cross and have ice-cream.

Then the fireworks began. They shot rockets off from the pail and then handed everyone fireworks that shoot off whatever direction you hold the wand. The young kids had a lot of fun with those.
We also were given sparklers to wave around.
And yes, there was ice-cream too.
